Plan a holiday escape to Rice Village and experience the charm of Ice Village, Houston’s happiest rink. From November 28 – January 4, lace up for skating under the stars, capture festive photo moments, and visit Santa on weekends from November 29 through December 21.

Getting here is easy — and staying awhile is even easier.
Convenient parking is available throughout Rice Village, with additional spaces in our central garage and rooftop deck. Enjoy (2) two hours of free parking in the Rice Village Main Garage or rooftop lot, both with entrances on Kelvin Drive. For longer visits, use the Parkmobile app for seamless payment and quick access to your favorite shops and restaurants.

How do I purchase my skating tickets?
Tickets are available online and sell out fast — we recommend reserving your time slot in advance.
Limited tickets may be available at the rink, but walk-up guests will be directed to scan a QR code to purchase on their phones. If your preferred time is sold out, you’ll be shown other available sessions.

When can I skate
Check the public skating hours listed on our website. Each ticket includes 75 minutes of skating, beginning at check-in.
Your ticket is valid only for the time and date you select, so plan to arrive a few minutes early to lace up and hit the ice on time.

How much are tickets?
Tickets are $20 per person and include skate rental.

Can I get a refund once I’ve purchased a ticket?
All tickets are non-refundable, but if the rink closes due to weather, we’ll email you with options to reschedule

Will there be food or drinks available?
Yes! Rice Village is full of incredible restaurants and cafés — grab a bite before or after your skate to make a night of it.
On select evenings, we’ll also have on-site vendors serving festive treats and beverages.

Visit the “Info and Help” tab on your Reservation Management page and click “Contact Support” for assistance. They’ll get you gliding again in no time.

Can I enter the rink area without skating?
Absolutely! Non-skaters are welcome to cheer from the sidelines — we just ask that children are supervised at all times.

Are there any age restrictions?
All ages are welcome to skate. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
For safety reasons, please don’t carry children while skating.

Can I bring my own skates?
Yes, you can — though skate rentals are included with your ticket, and pricing is the same whether you bring your own or use ours

Of course! Helmets are not provided, so please bring your own if preferred.

What should I wear to go skating?
Dress for the weather — layers, gloves, and cozy accessories are always a good idea. Socks and gloves are available for purchase at the rink.

What size of rental skates are available?
We offer skates from Toddler 8 to Adult 15.

What happens if it rains?
We pause skating during or right after heavy rain. If weather forces us to close, you’ll be notified by email and given the opportunity to reschedule.
